রামপুরার হাতিরঝিল সংলগ্ন মহানগর প্রজেক্ট এলাকার বিশিষ্ট সমাজকর্মী, মহানগর সমাজকল্যাণ সংস্থার সাবেক সহ-সভাপতি আহসানুল হক টুটুল আজ দুপুরে নওজ বাসভবনে ইন্তেকাল করেছেন (ইন্না লিল্লাহি ওয়া ইন্না ইলাইহি রাজিউন)। মৃত্যুকালে তাঁর বয়স হয়েছিল ৬১ বছর।
তিনি দীর্ঘদিন ধরে হৃদরোগ ও ডায়াবেটিসে ভুগছিলেন। তাঁর মৃত্যুতে পরিবার, আত্মীয়-স্বজন, বন্ধু-বান্ধব এবং এলাকাবাসীর মধ্যে গভীর শোকের ছায়া নেমে এসেছে।
মরহুম আহসানুল হক টুটুল ছিলেন বাংলাদেশ পোস্ট অফিসের পোস্টাল ট্রেনিং সেন্টারের সাবেক প্রিন্সিপাল মরহুম এ. কে. এম. ফজলুল হক এবং মরহুমা মমতাজ বেগম-এর জ্যেষ্ঠ পুত্র।
মহানগর প্রজেক্ট প্রতিষ্ঠার শুরু থেকেই তিনি এলাকার বিভিন্ন সামাজিক, জনকল্যাণমূলক ও রাজনৈতিক কর্মকাণ্ডে সক্রিয়ভাবে সম্পৃক্ত ছিলেন। সমাজসেবামূলক বিভিন্ন উদ্যোগে তাঁর আন্তরিক অংশগ্রহণ এবং মানুষের কল্যাণে নিরলস কাজের জন্য তিনি এলাকাবাসীর কাছে ছিলেন অত্যন্ত শ্রদ্ধেয় ও প্রিয় একজন ব্যক্তিত্ব। তিনি মহানগর সমাজকল্যাণ সংস্থার সাবেক সহ-সভাপতি হিসেবে দীর্ঘদিন দায়িত্ব পালন করেন এবং এলাকার উন্নয়নে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অবদান রাখেন।
মৃত্যুকালে তিনি তাঁর সহধর্মিণী, এক কন্যা, দুই ভাই, দুই বোনসহ অসংখ্য আত্মীয়-স্বজন, বন্ধু ও গুণগ্রাহী রেখে গেছেন।
মরহুমের জানাজার নামাজ আগামী মঙ্গলবার, ৩০ জুন ২০২৬, বাদ মাগরিব মহানগর কেন্দ্রীয় জামে মসজিদে অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। জানাজা শেষে তাঁকে আজিমপুর কবরস্থানে দাফন করা হবে।
মরহুমের বিদেহী আত্মার মাগফিরাত কামনায় পরিবারের পক্ষ থেকে সকলের কাছে দোয়া প্রার্থনা করা হয়েছে।

Prominent Social Worker Ahsanul Huq Tutul of Rampura Passes Away
Dhaka, 29 June 2026:
Prominent social worker of the Mohanagar Project area adjacent to Hatirjheel in Rampura and former Vice President of the Mohanagar Social Welfare Association, Ahsanul Huq Tutul, passed away this afternoon at his residence (Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Raji’un). He was 61.
He had been suffering from heart disease and diabetes for a long time. His passing has cast a deep shadow of grief among his family members, relatives, friends, and the residents of the locality.
The late Ahsanul Huq Tutul was the eldest son of late A.K.M. Fazlul Haque, former Principal of the Postal Training Centre, Bangladesh Post Office, and late Momtaj Begum.
Since the establishment of Mohanagar Project, he had been actively involved in various social, public welfare, and political activities in the area. For his sincere participation in numerous community service initiatives and his tireless dedication to the welfare of the people, he earned the respect and admiration of the local community. He also served for many years as the former Vice President of the Mohanagar Social Welfare Association, making significant contributions to the development of the area.
He is survived by his wife, one daughter, two brothers, two sisters, and numerous relatives, friends, and well-wishers.
The Janaza prayer will be held on Tuesday, 30 June 2026, after Maghrib at the Mohanagar Central Jame Mosque. He will be laid to rest at Azimpur Graveyard following the Janaza.
The bereaved family has requested everyone to pray for the eternal peace and forgiveness of the departed soul.
